Welcome to my website! If you are reading this you either know
me and just want to see what sort of dumb thing I wrote about
myself here or your new to the website and want to know what
the hell it is all about. So again, I say welcome!
I
have had a personal website off and on for the past 8 years
and it all started back in 2000 when I ruptured my spleen
snowboarding at Mount Bachelor. I was in my senior year of
high school at the time and was not able to go to school for
a week and a half due to the injury. I was sitting around
extremely bored and started to play with Yahoo Geocities to
build a website. The first website was initially called “Carpe
Diem” and highlighted me and my friends partying it
up and getting into trouble during our younger days. It actually
sparked other friends to start up small and basic websites
and being that we were in high school we all used AOL Instant
Messenger so it spread like wildfire. The actual web address
was www.livetwoparty.com but it is no longer active.
Soon I graduated from high school, forgot to pay the domain
dues and the website expired. In college there was a short
resurrection of a new website I created based around my fraternity
and friends from high school. This website was called Proper
Behavior and was at the domain www.properbehavior.com –
another website that went under after 2 years.
Soon, I had graduated college and started the career search.
I decided to get more serious (more mature) and started a
general website based around me and life in general. I realized
that unfortunately there comes a time when you have to stop
basing everything around partying and friends and I just decided
to have a general website. While I still like to have fun
and keep in touch with old friends from high school and college,
this newest website has a more dignified touch to it ( yeah…
right). I am constantly adding new material to the website
as I go so hopefully I can keep this thing up to date.
I use Dreamweaver MX to manage my website and right now am
going through a web hosting company called Micfo. I used Adobe
Photoshop to make many of the graphics for the website and
just use the basic Windows Movie Maker to create videos.
